Terms of service

1. General Provisions

If the Consumer purchases goods/services through the website, such mutual agreement shall be considered a Distance Contract and shall be subject to the legal regulations of the Republic of Latvia governing distance contracts, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations of the Republic of Latvia “Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts”, and other applicable laws.

2. Making Purchases

The prices and specifications of the products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products.

To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart. Fill in all required fields and choose the most suitable delivery method. The total cost of the order including delivery will then be displayed on the screen. Complete the payment to finalize the order.

3. Payment Terms

The currency of settlement on the website is euro.

The purchase can be paid for using the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, Maksekeskus AS:

• Latvian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor
• Estonian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
• Lithuanian internet bank payments: Swedbank, SEB and Luminor
• Finnish internet bank payments: Aktia, Ålandsbanken, Danske, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästopankki, Pohjola, POP Pankki, S-Pankki, Säästopankki
• Visa/Mastercard card payments

NB! When using internet banking payment method, confirm the order and click the button “Return to merchant”.

Personal data necessary for payment processing is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.

The contract enters into force upon successful payment to the online store’s bank account. If for any reason the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be informed and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but not later than within 14 days after receipt of the notification.

4. Delivery Terms

Goods are delivered to the following countries: European and European Union countries.

Purchased goods are delivered using courier services.

All duties and taxes required to receive the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer.

Delivery costs are displayed before the order is confirmed.

Purchased goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer within 5–10 working days. In exceptional cases, we have the right to send the goods within up to 45 calendar days, informing the customer accordingly.

5. Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Goods. (Depending on the product, the Buyer may not have mandatory withdrawal rights; in such case the reason must be clearly indicated and explained.) The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal entity.

To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, the goods may only be used for their intended purposes. The Consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period. If the goods are used improperly or damaged, handled negligently during use, instructions are not followed, the original packaging is lost, or the packaging is significantly damaged, the online store has the right to reduce the refundable amount in proportion to the decrease in the value of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, You must submit a withdrawal form, which can be found here: (insert link to withdrawal form), by sending it to the email address zedizains@gmail.com within 14 days after receiving the goods.

It is good practice to provide customers with free return shipping. This increases trust in the online store, which helps improve sales volumes.

The following sentence applies to online stores that cannot offer free return shipping. The Buyer covers the return costs of the goods, except in cases where the reason for return is that the goods do not correspond to the order (for example, incorrect or damaged product).

The Buyer is obliged to return the Goods to the Seller without delay, but not later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal form to the online store.

After receiving the returned goods, the online store immediately, but not later than within 14 days, refunds all payments received from the Buyer based on the Distance Contract.

The Seller has the right to withhold payment until it has received the Goods from the Buyer or proof of return of the goods.

If the Buyer has chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest delivery method offered by the online store, the online store is not obliged to reimburse the exceeded shipping costs.

The online store is not responsible for delays in performance of obligations or non-performance, or other types of non-performance arising from circumstances and obstacles beyond the reasonable control of the online store.

The online store reserves the right to refuse to sell goods and to demand return of the goods from the Buyer if the price indicated in the online store is significantly lower than its market price due to an error.

6. Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Goods

The online store is responsible for non-conformity of goods sold to the Buyer with the terms of the contract or defects that arise within 6 months after the delivery of the goods to the customer, or existed at the time of delivery, if such assumption is not contrary to the nature of the goods or the defect.

The Buyer must inform the Seller of the non-conformity of the goods immediately, within 2 months after its discovery, i.e., submit a complaint. The Buyer may submit a complaint by contacting the online store at zedizains@gmail.com.

The online store is not responsible for defects that have arisen after the goods have been delivered to the Buyer.

If the purchased goods have defects for which the Seller is responsible, the Buyer has the right to request repair of the defects or replacement with new goods free of charge.

If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Seller shall refund all payments provided for in the Distance Contract.

The Seller shall provide a written response to the consumer’s complaint within 15 days.

7. Processing of the Buyer’s Personal Data

The online store processes only the personal data entered by the Buyer when ordering goods, such as name, surname, email, etc.

The online store transfers personal data to transport service provider(s) to ensure delivery of goods.

If You have explicitly agreed to receive our marketing communications, including news, we may from time to time contact You by sending information about our services and latest offers. For this purpose, we may process the email address you provided when subscribing to marketing communications.

The Buyer has the option to opt out of marketing communications by notifying us at zedizains@gmail.com.

8. Dispute Resolution Procedure

In matters not covered in these terms and conditions, the Buyer and the Seller undertake to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.

All disputes arising between the Seller and the Buyer shall be resolved through mutual negotiations or correspondence.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations or correspondence, the Parties shall resolve the dispute in the court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller may also be submitted to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or the court of the Republic of Latvia.

The Buyer also has the right to apply to European Union dispute resolution bodies.
